Strong in spirit, generous at heart. Jaff is the official mascot of JW Kim College of Future Studies — a striped Black Tiger cub with pink guardian wings, quietly cheering every student who stacks up.
Four defining traits make Jaff instantly recognizable — no matter the medium, the pose, or the sub-brand skin.
One eye winked, the other half-open. Silently in your corner, without making a scene about it.
Jaff's endorsement gesture. Approval, encouragement, and a quiet "you got this" — all at once.
Roughly 60% of body size. Soft pink against the dark striped coat — symbol of protection and lift.
The red heart carries the sub-brand initials. JCF today, WSUBlend or UX tomorrow — one shape, many identities.
Jaff's roots trace back to a Daejeon folk tale about tigers — the story behind why a Black Tiger watches over the college.
On the mountain pass connecting Hodong and Daemyeong-dong sits a valley known as Beomgol — "Tiger Valley" — named for a legend still told in Daejeon. A skilled hunter once tracked and caught a mother tiger to treat a sick friend.
The mother's cubs, left behind, refused to leave the den. Rather than abandon them, the hunter moved in and raised the cubs himself, living alongside them in the tiger's own home. Jaff carries that same spirit forward — loyalty over distance, family over solitude.
Jaff's visual language boils down to four colors and two signature marks. Keep the combination — the character stays intact.
